1. We were ready for the response. It's a simple conversation between mother and son. The son shows that he's tired of studying and then mom comes and teaches him something about life. This is what we thought about the scene for the poem. The mom is talking about something serious to her teenager son. 2. The mom's lesson is what we highlight for the poem. The main idea of this poem is to communicate with the son. So the information and the way the mom talk is important. 

I think the purpose of why the writer writes this poem is very simple, so when I first read it I could be sure that the poem was written to teach children something about life. As the poem says, there will be no crystal stairs in life. This means that no one will set everything up for you, and there will be no shortcuts. All your achievements need to be achieved step by step. On the way, as the poem says, there will be a lot of tacks and splinters. These are the difficulties you encounter in your efforts, but you cannot retreat or stop. Because your life goes on you have to move on. 1. I think I did well on my final draft. Mainly because this is a good song with meaningful lyrics, so is easy to write an analysis about that. 2. It depends on the paper that other people writes opinions for me. I put more analyze for the quotation and add the topic sentence for each paragraph. 3. The difficult is to write a thesis about the lyrics. The lyrics are quite confused for the first time, but when I find out it is related on 1984 everything becomes easy. 4. The hard part for me is the recite and add some hand motion during the acting. And the easy part is to work with others. I think the background music and your movement will make the performance interesting to watch.  And in our play, the music really helped a lot, because it made our play vividly.
